A little about me:

My journey hasn’t always been easy. I came from a tough background and lived in a DV home, which makes me a bit shy at first. I might bark when we first meet, but it’s just me trying to feel safe. I’ve also had some rough encounters with other dogs, so I can get scared and react aggressively during my morning walks with my foster mum.

What I can offer:

• Toilet trained: No mess, no stress!

• Travel buddy: I love adventures and I travel well - perfect for joy rides!

• Basic obedience: I know the basics and am eager to learn more with you.

• Affectionate nature: I'm a pro-snuggler who thrives on love and companionship.

Ideal home:

• I'm not suitable for an apartment and I need a garden with secure fencing.

• I’m looking for a quieter lifestyle in a loving home where I can receive ongoing training to help me grow and overcome my fear of seeing other dogs. Although I’m not overly social, the good news is you won’t have to worry about long walks or those dreaded dog parks.

• I need people who are home a lot please! I would ideally suit a retired couple!

• I’m not a big fan of children either so an adult-only home is best for me.

• If you are serious about taking me on, with patience and understanding, I know I can learn to enjoy outings, like sipping a puppuccino at a café and making furry friends! But if that’s not your style, I’m perfectly happy being the centre of your world at home.

Chevy prefers a quieter lifestyle and is not overly social - he enjoys his home training and cuddles more!
