I’m Bobby and I’m looking for a new home and new people to love.

I’m meant to be a pure Maltese Terrier but as you can see, I’m not! My foster family thinks I might be part Border Collie?

I was born in April 2024 and I am 12.7 kgs at the moment. My foster family says maybe I’m Maltese cross Falkor (the good luck dragon from a never ending story).

I am actually very lucky (so maybe it’s true) because I just had the opportunity to spend 10 days with a wonderful trainer who taught me so much and has set me up to keep learning so that I can reach my full potential.

Things I’m proud of :

• I can sit

• I can “wait” and follow an invite to come “through” a doorway

• Stay on my mat for some time

• Stay in my crate overnight and go there if I need to in the day

• I’m fine with cats

• I’m good with the big dog and the little dog at my foster home

• I love pats and cuddles from my foster Mum, foster Dad and their 12 year old daughter

• I walk on the lead beautifully

• I don’t go on furniture

Things I’m working on :

• Barking at noises (lots)

• Jumping up

• Relaxing

• Learning to trust strangers

• Knowing my place in the house

• Self confidence

I’d love a new home with experienced dog owners who can work with me to continue my training and help me reach my potential. In exchange I’ll love you endlessly and be your most loyal companion. All my vet work is done and I’m ready to start my new life!

My foster Mum will be sad to see me go but I need a family of my own.
